Youth and young adults with mental health conditions have unique needs, which is why NAMI Greater Houston provides tailored programs for them and their caregivers.
Our goal is to prepare youth networks to offer initial support to peers showing signs of mental health issues. Most conditions emerge between ages 15 and 25, but people often wait about 11 years to seek help due to stigma. NAMI Greater Houston is dedicated to reducing that stigma and fostering conversations about mental health in our community.
